A bit of urban know-how for you Iowans out there:
When your clothes are dirty and you find yourself in a large city with, oh, about 5 MILLION laundromats to choose from, the best way to get them clean is to hang them all up in your backyard on the clothesline and douse them with the garden hose for about 10 minutes straight.

Oh, don't feel left out, I didn't know that this was the proper way to do laundry, either. I learned it by watching my little Hmong neighbor this morning.

Maybe it's cultural....but seriously, the garden hose??? C'mon.
