Blog's gone global, y'all!

Sometimes people you were BEST friends with throughout elementary and middle school but whom you've since drifted apart from cuz first they moved away and then you both moved even further away and now it's been a really really long time since you've heard from them through no real fault of either of you (whew!) will just e-mail you out of the blue to say they stumbled upon your blog.

And it may seem pretty stupid, but sometimes that makes you feel so elated that the rest of your day is bound to be stellar.

And? Sometimes you've never really told this bestest-bud-from-days-of-yore, but you're pretty darn proud of where he's gone and the things he's accomplished. And sometimes you hope you'll get to be a distinguished guest at some sort of Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony in his honor.

And sometimes it makes you wish you'd never drifted apart. Kind of a mixed bag...
