CWMIR: Dude, check this out: "In females with two X chromosomes or males with XXY chromosomes, one X chromosome is randomly inactivated in each somatic cell of the embryo and remains inactive in all daughter cells. This inactive X chromosome appears as an appendage of the neutrophil nucleus and is called a drumstick, or an X chromatin body."

I got to look at my own blood the other day in heme lab, and uh...I have REALLY nice drumsticks, just so ya know.
