I give myself two points for not having any expectations for the way my birthday should go this year. I just let it do its own thing this time, and that ended up being the best thing I could've done. I had such a great time...so many thoughtful gifts and cards, so many awesome hugs, so much amazing love from my friends and family. It was a superb day, and I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face. What more could a 22-year-old ask for?
