Best compliment I've gotten in a long time:
"Karen, I was actually thinking that you're the kind of gal I'd like my girls to hang out with; I just like the way you look at life."
--Dr. Benedict, on the way he wants his daughters to turn out.

How was I supposed to respond to that? I'm pretty sure I just said, "Thanks."
